Join us this May for a week of half term fun! We are kicking off the week with The Great British Food Festival – with a whole host of delicious food stalls, cooking demos and activities for all the family. Alongside this, we have family crafts, scavenger hunts, our Colour Trail and more for you to enjoy all week long.

WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK –

Nature Scavenger Hunt
Explore the grounds of Harewood with our Nature Scavenger Hunt and see how many different natural objects and wildlife you can spot.
Collect from the Information Centre

Colours Uncovered 
Visit the House and explore our current exhibition Colours Uncovered. Explore the science of pigments, and the different meanings and significance of colours for wellbeing. Colours. From dazzling Renaissance masterpiece paintings from the 1500s to exquisite Sevres porcelain dating from the 1700s, the exhibition also features contemporary works by artists including Chris Day and Max Lamb.
House opening times: 10.30am–4pm

Colour Trail
Take on the Colour Trail and discover the Colours Uncovered exhibition in more detail. Start in the House, before taking the trail outside to discover all the beautiful colours in the landscape this May.

Family Colour Space
Visit the Servant’s Hall for some family fun with our Family Colour Space. Get cosy in our Reading Corner and discover stories of colour, get creative in our Colouring Corner, or help us pick Harewood’s favourite colour and add to our giant Colour Wall.
Servant’s Hall is located Below Stairs

Colouring Cart
Make your way to the Courtyard to find our Colouring Cart. We have plenty of activity sheets and colouring to keep the family entertained whilst you are down in the Courtyard.

Half Term Badgemaking
For the half term week, head to the Courtyard and make your own badge. Choose a design – from minibeasts, leaves and flowers – or you can design your very own.
