11am – 1pm

Learn to make beautiful hanging decorations and garlands using traditional Japanese paper folding techniques.

Modular origami is the practice of fitting together a number of simple folded units to create intricate sculptural pieces. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, so don’t worry if you’re new to origami – there will be demonstrations and step-by-step guidance.

All the materials you’ll need to create your decorations are provided, including a huge choice of traditional washi paper and decorative paper designs.

Good to know: these decorations are designed to last for years to come, and everything we’ll use for this workshop is naturally bio-degradable and recyclable.
