Experience an early morning walk around the grounds of Harewood, and discover the secrets of nature from our wildlife expert Dr Morris Charlton, as he talks you through the daily natural spectacle that is the dawn chorus. See, hear, and learn more about the native birds found across the Harewood Estate, a perfect walk for those wanting to learn more about the nature that surrounds us.
Our walk will finish with a delicious bacon sandwich and hot drink in our Courtyard, where you will have the opportunity to chat further with Morris about the morning’s discoveries.

Our Dawn Chorus Walk includes a two hour walk and talk around the Harewood grounds, with wildlife expert Dr Morris Charlton and his team. Complete your early morning walk with a warming bacon sandwich and hot drink.
Please notify us upon booking of any dietary requirements you may have.
This ticket includes access into Harewood House and Grounds on Saturday 30 May. Please note our Dawn Chorus Walk concludes at approximately 7am, following which you will be required to leave the site. If you would like to re-visit on the day, the site will open to the general public from 10am. Please present your event ticket at Visitor Reception to enter the site.
On arrival at Harewood, please park in the main car park, and make your way to the Curiosity Cabin at the top of the car park, where a member of the team will be there to meet you.
Make sure you bring a pair of binoculars if you have them. We will have pairs to lend in case you don’t have any.
Please ensure you wear suitable footwear for this event, as the walk will cover some rough terrain in places. Dogs are not permitted on this walk.
