Friday 17 September 2021
10.15am – 11.45am
Join Harewood’s Assistant Curator for a tour of the House with a special focus on a number of personal favourites from the collection. From masterpieces such as Chippendale’s Diana and Minerva commode and porcelain made for the French royal family, to lesser known treasures such as Princess Mary’s collection of ostrich feather fans, this session offers the opportunity to hop over the ropes and discover why the team are so passionate about Harewood’s collections. Through a range of specially selected objects, learn more about the history of the House and the people behind its collections, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get up-close to the objects in focus.
The following dates are available
Upon arrival, please park in the main car park and make your way to the entrance of the State Floor, where a member of the team will be there to greet you.
