Christmas is back and Harewood House has much missed the company of visitors from far and wide. Created by connoisseurs of make-believe Lord Whitney, the House shares its favourite memory of when a little girl was granted a festive wish to experience a Christmas like no other. Never predictable or ordinary, join us in escaping into an immersive Christmas story from Friday 13 November to Sunday 3 January.

For 2020, you will need to book a timed ticket slot for Upon a Christmas Wish. Upon booking your tickets, you will be required to select a time slot for entry into the House. Day tickets for Members and non-Member will need to be booked / purchased online. Click here to book now >>
Timed ticket slots are set at 15 minutes intervals.
Christmas at Harewood is FREE for Harewood Members, but you will still need to book your timed entry slot. You can find out more about membership here >>
Christmas at Harewood will be open everyday from 13 November until 3 January 10am–6pm, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We will close early (4pm) on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Visit the Courtyard Café for a range of hot and cold options, inspired by the season, available at the Courtyard Cafe. Expect hearty stews, soups, broths and pies made using produce sourced from Harewood; as well as seasonal sandwiches, alongside favourites like Northern Monk Beer Battered North Sea Haddock served with twice cooked skin on chips, minted mushy peas and home-made tartar sauce, perfect for getting you in the Christmas spirit.
There will be a range of seasonal sweets, pastries, cakes and tray bakes available from our local artisan suppliers, as well as a festive drinks list with rum & hot chocolate, mulled wine and more.
Visit the Terrace Tearoom for hot drinks and Christmas Afternoon teas, and our brand new Bothy Teashop will be open on selected dates, serving a range of hot and cold snacks, drinks and walled garden produce.
