Saturday 20 – Sunday 21 October 2018
10am – 6pm
Join our third weekend in our series of Autumn Festival Weekends, and be part of our celebrations of all things craft and colour, as we celebrate the wonderful tones and colours of autumn at Harewood.
See the fantastically energetic Hyde Park Brass perform, get crafty with leaf printing and pine cone collages, follow a Nature Trail around the Lakeside Path to discover the treasures of autumn, and help us create a Giant Sculptural Forest in our Stable, as we bring all our visitors together to help dress a forest of trees with beautiful hand-crafted leaves.
*Access to the State Floor requires a Freedom Ticket.
Hyde Park Brass was born on the mean streets of Leeds. Combining elements of New Orleans, hip-hop and brass this lot play in a way you’ve never seen before.
2018 saw the release of their debut album which has firmly established them as heavy hitters on the up and coming brass scene in the UK. Creating raw and raucous landscapes the album reflects the journey the band has been on as it gigged throughout the north of England perfecting and fine tuning their unique sound.
Building a following across the UK and beyond, Hyde Park Brass continue to chart new territory for what it means to be a brass band.
See them perform at Harewood at 12 and 2pm on Sunday 21st October in the Courtyard.
