Head to the Curiosity Cabin and take part in a children’s clay-modelling masterclass, where our arty volunteers will teach you how to make your favourite autumnal animals, whether a harvest mouse or prickly hedgehog!

Go Below Stairs and watch cooking demonstrations on Wed 26 + Thu 27 Oct, as the smells of seasonal food will fill the Old Kitchen.
+ Deer Rut Tractor Wildlife Tour

Join the British Deer Society for a Tractor Tour of Harewood’s deer park this half term. Our Deer have spent the summer growing some impressive antlers, caring for their fawn and preparing to take part in one of nature’s best spectacles: Rutting Season. Hop on our safari bus for a trip around the Estate, learning all about this incredible time and more with an extremely knowledgeable guide from the British Deer Society.
Tickets £15 per person. Entry tickets to Harewood or a valid Membership will be required in addition to this ticket.

+ Family Tractor Wildlife Tour

Hop on our safari bus for a trip around the Estate, to see and learn about the wealth of wildlife on the Estate and hear about the work we’re undertaking to help conserve UK species and become more sustainable.
Tickets £10 per person. Entry tickets to Harewood or a valid Membership will be required in addition to this ticket.
+ Pumpkin Trail

This autumn, go on a pumpkin trail around the site and try and find all the pumpkins hidden on site, decorated by the teams who work at Harewood. If you find them all, you can collect a prize from Visitor Information.

+ Lantern Workshop with Rusticus in Education Suite

Join independent theatre company Rusticus in the Education Suite for a brand new Harewood Lantern Workshop. Families will work together to create large lanterns using traditional withy sculpture and tissue paper. The workshop will be delivered by two Jolly Forresters, making it part activity, part performance!

Independent theatre company Rusticus bring well-loved and well-disliked fairytale characters to life in their outdoor performance walk Frightful Fairytales. Delve into the world of Brothers Grimm and find out why the witch wants vengeance, the troll is so grumpy, and why the big bad wolf isn’t so big and bad after all!
