NEW FOR 2021.
Ever wondered what life was like for the servants living and working in Harewood House? Join us for a tour of Below Stairs and an exclusive look at the rarely seen attic rooms; see how the servants used to live and how the rooms are now used. Learn how the kitchens were modernised in the Victorian era and again in the 1930s, and how attitudes towards servants even affected the architecture of the house. From electric bell boards to copper pans, the tour explores the inner workings of a country house.
This tour will include access to previously unseen areas of the house and will include steep, narrow stone stairs.
Limited places available.
