What is Gift Aid?

If you’re a UK taxpayer and make a donation to Harewood that is 10% more than the basic entry fee, the government will give us an extra 25% on top of your donation. This makes a massive difference to Charitable Trusts like Harewood. Find out more about Gift Aid.

Tickets to Harewood cover full entry to the site, including the House State Floor and Below Stairs; our Gardens which include the Italianate Terrace, Himalayan Garden, Lakeside and West Garden; the Bird Garden – featuring 40 species including Andean condors and our Humboldt penguins; our Farm Experience; plus our Grounds. You can find our main Shop and Café in the Courtyard.

Information

Should I purchase a membership?

Harewood Membership offers fantastic value, including free entry to Harewood, discounts in the cafes and shop and exclusive members’ events. Learn more about our membership options on our Members page.

What is the age limit for a Child ticket?

Child tickets apply to children between the ages of 4 and 17. Children under 4-years-old are free. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over the age of 18) at all times whilst on site at Harewood.

Are dogs allowed?

Harewood is a dog-friendly day out. It’s a great place to walk around and visitors can enjoy the lakeside and the wider park with their four legged friends. All we ask is that your dog is kept on a short lead.

We are unable to allow dogs in the House, Bird Garden, Farm Experience and in the Adventure Playground, but the rest of the 100 acre site is yours to enjoy!

Are bikes, balance boards and scooters allowed?

We welcome you to bring your bikes, scooters and other sports equipment. Please ensure correct safety equipment is worn at all times. Please be advised that Harewood is situated on a hill and caution is required to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
