Mischief at the Mansion: Learning Groups

Treat your class to a day of Christmas magic at Harewood House!

This festive season, we are offering a discounted rate for learning groups to visit Mischief at the Mansion – our Christmas experience in the House that is guaranteed to inspire awe, wonder and festive cheer.

Your pupils will have full access to the House and grounds on a self-guided basis and exclusive use of our festively-decorated lunch space so you can warm up before heading out to explore.

Not only is Mischief at the Mansion an incredibly magical experience, it is steeped in Harewood history. Every corner of the House holds a tale, from 18th-century festive traditions to modern-day celebrations, all tied together with a touch of mischievous charm.

Explore the grand Gallery, where secrets of grand Georgian parties are revealed by gossiping baubles. Hear Queen Victoria quip about Christmases past as former Prime Minister George Canning reflects on his record as the shortest-serving leader in history—only to lament being bumped off the top spot by Liz Truss. Even the plates and cakes tell stories of bustling preparations, as cooks raced to perfect festive feasts under watchful housekeepers’ eyes for the Lascelles Family.

Learning Group Rates

Learning child (under 18): £8 per pupil

Learning adult (18+): £9.50 per pupil

All leading adults can attend for free.

Other than SEND groups, learning groups must have 10+ pupils to benefit from our educational rates.
