This workshop is part of The Wild Escape project, a UK wide, museum based project celebrating biodiversity in the British Isles. Harewood is the perfect place to engage and inspire young people with climate change and the ways in which we can all make a difference to support biodiversity and live more sustainably.
Your pupils will be offered an unforgettable learning experience as they get outside the classroom and explore the Grounds, Gardens and Woodlands at Harewood. Each session is led by an experienced Learning Facilitator and takes place across our site, including our Woodland Wonderland, a willow playscape, and Sylvascope, our sustainable treehouse.
Timings + Prices
Timings for all sessions are flexible and can be tailored to suit KS1, lower primary or upper primary aged pupils.
The session runs as a carousel of parallel activities by dividing your group in half and switching through activities. Each session is led by an experienced Learning Facilitator offering structured guidance and hands-on facilitation whilst encouraging them to explore for themselves.
Costs: £7 per pupil for a half-day experience.
