Harewood during the Wars

Find out about Princess Mary, who married Henry Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood, and her special gift box campaign which helped the soldiers during the First World War.

Discover what life was like during both the First and Second World Wars, how Harewood changed  and its role during the war effort, both in terms of growing food and as a convalescent hospital for recovering soldiers.
