‘We had a wonderful day that far exceeded our expectations. The workshop was excellent – the children were engaged throughout and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.’

Our primary sessions at Harewood extend to all areas of the site including the House, Bird Garden and Grounds and Gardens and include tours and workshops. All workshops are based outdoors with wet weather options and are available all year round.
Bird Garden & House Tours
Our tours in the Bird Garden cover topics from adaptation to life cycles and habitats and are delivered by our bird keeping team.
Our House tours give an introduction to the changing history of Harewood, its stories and secret nooks and crannies. We can offer focused history tours such as ‘Harewood and the Slave Trade’, ‘Harewood in Wartime’ or art-based tours such as ‘Portraits and Characters’, all led by our expert house guides.
