Watercolour Rooms

>

Once a bathroom and dressing room, part of the suite made for the 6th Earl and Princess Mary by Herbert Baker in the 1930s, these rooms were adapted in the 1990s to display Harewood’s fine collection of watercolours. The vulnerability of watercolours to sunlight means that they are not always on display and the rooms are, like the China Room, often used to house temporary exhibitions.
