One of a pair of George III giltwood overdoors with grisaille medallions attributed to Antonio Zucchi, the frames attributed to Thomas Chippendale.
These overdoors were supplied c1775-80 and were restored by Carvers and Gilders in 1985. The carved decoration consists of palm trees above two seated classical figures among floral swags. oval grisaille-painted medallions of putti at play, attributed to Antonio Zucchi, A.R.A.
