Red Kite Talks and Viewings are held throughout the year at Harewood. Find out more about these wonderful birds through an illustrated talk from Doug Simpson, Yorkshire Red Kite Coordinator and Project Officer for the original release programme. You will then have the opportunity to accompany Doug to view the Kites in action.
The illustrated talk will last approximately one hour, before going outdoors for the viewing, which will also last approximately an hour.
End your day with a cup of tea or coffee in our scenic Terrace Café, and enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful Yorkshire landscape.
Your ticket for this event includes full access to Below Stairs and the Grounds, so you are welcome join us for the whole day, to explore the rest of Harewood during your visit.
You are welcome to bring binoculars if you have them, and please wrap up warm for the viewings, as it can get chilly! If you cannot stand for long periods, you are also welcome to bring a folding chair for use at the viewing.
Please make your way to the Education Suite in the Courtyard on arrival. Your day will finish with a tea or coffee in the Terrace Café, included with your ticket.
