Spring is an excellent time to watch birds and where better than the Harewood Estate with its variety of habitats. Improve your bird identification skills, learn about the birds that can be found on the estate, practise some bird song and find out how to use your binoculars with speed and accuracy. You’ll get the chance to see birds through a powerful telescope and, with your own personal guide Linda Jenkinson, you’ll learn the tools and techniques required to help you become a better birdwatcher.

Linda Jenkinson teaches birdwatching to adult beginners in and around Leeds. Over the last 13 years she has fledged many new birdwatchers with her outdoor and indoor classes. As well as a having a passion for birds, Linda loves promoting the green spaces that Leeds has to offer and aims to get more people watching birds closer to home.
