Inspired by ITV’s Victoria series which used Harewood House as a location, 2017 sees Harewood explore the Victorian era through the eyes of three prominent women; Lady Louisa, 3rd Countess of Harewood, Lady Charlotte Canning and Queen Victoria herself.
This guided tour will give your group the opportunity to delve into this fascinating era of history. The one hour tour will be presented by our expert guides and will include objects, personal letters and archival material from Harewood’s collection.
Alongside the historical stories, we are hosting a costume exhibition from the Victoria series. Learn how we prepared for filming in the house, what rooms were used, and see some of the wonderful dresses worn by Jenna Coleman in the programme.
The Victorian Harewood Tour is £8 per person, minimum charge £120. All tours must be pre-booked in advance. Group numbers apply to parties of 15 or more. Pre-booking is essential.
