The Terrace Tearoom

Overlooking the stunning Parterre on the south side of Harewood House, The Terrace Cafe Tearooms offer an elegant venue with superb views. It serves a range of light bites, such as smoked salmon, local ham carved from the bone and Swaledale cheese sandwiches, traditional Ploughmans with home made pickles served on slate, a range of delicious home-made cakes and a full range of quality teas and coffees.

Perrier Jouet Champagne and Pimms are also available with other delicious cocktails, alcoholic or otherwise, perfect for that special treat.  Visitors can either take a seat on the Lloyd Loom furniture under parasols, or cushioned seats on the stone window seats on Harewood’s south facing terrace. The view is just as stunning from behind the Georgian sash windows, with a cool stone floor, white walls and a relaxing ambience. 

Rewind and re-energise while you enjoy the contemporary artwork which spills over from the adjoining Terrace Gallery with its ever changing exhibitions. 

The Terrace Cafe is also available for corporate or private functions throughout the open season, either with the Terrace Gallery or the Below Stairs area of Harewood House.
